What Is TB-500?

TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of the active region of Thymosin Beta-4 — a naturally occurring peptide found in high concentrations at injury sites throughout the body. Thymosin Beta-4 plays a central role in actin regulation, which governs cell shape, movement, and division. TB-500 mimics this activity, directing stem cells and other repair-capable cells toward areas of damage.

Mechanism of Action

TB-500 acts by sequestering G-actin and promoting actin polymerization in damaged tissue, which enables faster cell migration to wound sites. It also downregulates inflammatory cytokines and upregulates anti-inflammatory signals. In animal models, TB-500 has been shown to accelerate wound closure, tendon healing, and cardiac tissue repair after injury.

BPC-157 + TB-500 Stack

These two peptides are frequently used together because they work through complementary mechanisms. BPC-157 is particularly potent for tendon, ligament, and gut healing through angiogenesis and growth factor modulation, while TB-500 excels at systemic cell migration and inflammation control. Together they represent the most comprehensive peptide recovery stack available.
